This thread is for the 100% confirmed information about Pokemon X and Pokemon Y – the primary pair of Pokemon’s 6th Generation!

What I know so far about Pokemon X and Y

Format: Nintendo 3DS
Release: 12th October 2013 Worldwide

X AND Y will take part in the Kalos region, which is based on France.

Your adventure begins in Vaniville Town, with your new friends Shauna, Tierno, Trevor and either Serena or Calem.

The region’s largest city is Lumiose City. That is  where you will first meet Professor Sycamore.

Team Flare are the villain team in the games and are solely after money. But the question is what do they want the money for?

Gyms return. Eight badges are all that I know. The first badge belongs to Viola the Bug specialist in Santalune City. Grant and Clemont are also confirmed as two more gym leaders, but the types they specialise in, and their locations in the region, were not given. Korrina is another gym leader and resides in Shalour City; she is said to know secrets about Mega Evolution.

The Player Characters:

If you play as a male, you will have Serena as a neighbor, and likewise, playing as a female will give you Calem as a neighbor. Their goal is to become a powerful Pokemon trainer.
